In how many sessions is root canal treatment completed?
For single-rooted teeth, it is usually completed in 1 session. For multi-rooted or complex cases, 2–3 sessions may be required.
How long does a root canal treated tooth last?
If an appropriate crown (cap) is made after treatment, the tooth can remain in the mouth for decades. Not capping increases the risk of fracture.
